Smells, bells & glass

Went to a wedding today which was a traditional Catholic background. It was nice to see my friend getting married but it was odd the service seemed all jumbled together with bits and pieces all over the place. Was interesting. Also, at the reception (awesome food & roses & candles!) there were bonberblah-blahs and they were glass bells that you rung to make the couple kiss! I didn't understand. Why do you do that?! Anyways, I'm intrigued by how many people are getting married at the moment. Fascinating differences too. :)
